A look back at 2005
Another year has passed and looking back the best that has happened in year 2005 must be that we succeeded in getting our mares in foal. Also the only offspring by our beloved Pann, Harley Davidson, is back at the stud. Cody Makida D. and D. ShanŽn Jan Memory has been broken to ride, and we have had our dog. Our little Dirty Diana is a very active young lady, and she steals quite a lot of time, but in return she gives us so much joy.
December 2005

November 2005
The Jutland Championships are now over and thereby the season for western shows are over for this year. Harley was doing ok in the warm up, but not so well in the arena.
We have now had our little puppy home, and she definitely fits her name Dirty Diana, cause she is a true little bandit.
October 2005
We have bought a dog, an american staffordshire terrie. She will be ready to
leave her mom the 18th. of November. Read more about her under "Dirty Diana".
Harley Davidson is attending the last western show this season, The Jutland
Championship the 12 th. of November in Ikast, Denmark.
D. ShanŽn Jan Memory is working very well under sadle, and he can already be
ridden together other horses by now, even mares. Pictures of him under sadle can
be found in the gallery.
The gallery has also been updated with a few fresh pictures of Wimpy and
Victoria Lynn under sadle.
The page Sold Horses has now been updated, so that all horses we have sold in time now appear on the site.
September 2005
We didnŽt get to ride at the Danish Western Marsters - Harley damaged his leg during the transport to the show. But we hope that he will be ready for the last western show this year, The Jutland Championships the 12. of November.
The gallery has been updated, now there is a page for each horse, also "the stud" has been updated with a few pictures.
D. ShanŽn Jan Memory is working very well under saddle, and he is now carrying a rider very nice. Pictures of D. ShanŽn Jan Memory under saddle will soon come up in the gallery.
August 2005
So... Now IŽm trying to learn to update my site by my self - it takes some
patience.. - and that both from me and Lone Karmdal, so thank you Lone for your
assistence.
Well, the western riding at the Scandinavian Riding Show were cancelled
because of to few attending, but Harley and I have been attending in a westen
show anyway. We had our debut as western equvipage a the WHC cup the 31th. of
July, and we did quite well I think. We were nr. 4 of 12 riders in novice horse
pleasure walkŽn trot, and nr. 3 of 8 riders in novice horse western pleasure.
The next western show we attend might be the Danish Western Masters in Vejle the
26th. to the 28th. of August. You can see pictures from the WHC Cup in the
gallery under Harley Davidson.
July 2005
The National show is now over, thank you Marianne Sűrensen, Kastanielund
Arabians, for all the nice pictures of our horses at the show. The results for
our horses are as follows:
Harley Davidson, gelding was nr. 3 with 81,67 points and D. Midnight Rodeo, 2
year old colt was nr. 4 with 83 points. It was the first time D. Midnight Rodeo
was away from home, and he did really good, it definitely was a nice experience
for him.
The western riding at the National Show were cancelled, so I never got to ride
at the show. But the season for western shows are not over yet, and the plan is
that Harley and I will be attending in a few shows before end of season. One of
them will of cause be the Scandinavian Riding Show for arabian horses in Randers
in August.
June 2005
Davidson Arabians will be represented at the National Show by D. Midnight
Rodeo, 2 year old stallion and Harley Davidson, attending in the class for
geldings and also attending in western pleasure and western horsemanship.
We wish a good summer to all of you.
May 2005
We have also bred both Sweet Miss D. and Cody Makida D. to Nazeem, in case
that Wimpy and Victoria Lynn should not come in foal. But that was not the
coincidence and now all the mares are in foal and we expect 4 foals in 2006, all
by Nazeem Ibn Jashana, so now the time has come to say goodbye to Nazeem and
thank you to Marianne Lorentzen for the good co-operation. Nazeem is showing in
Blommeröd, Sweden and at The National Show, Denmark, we are looking forward to
following him and his results and wish him good luck.
April 2005
Finally it is springtime and the mares have now come in heat and both Wimpy
and Victoria have been covered by Nazeem, and we hope to have some more luck
this year than last year.
We have started to ride Cody Makida D. and with her cool temper she is, as we
expected a real pleasure to work with and she is doing great.
We have had a chance to buy back our first foal. Harley Davidson is the first
and only offspring from our beloved Pann. Harley is now 6 years old and Stina
Dinsen, who bought him from us 4 years ago has ridden him in competions in
dressage and jumping. Harley look a lot like his sire Pann, and we are glad to
have him back again. We wish Stina good luck with her studies in the future.
March 2005
It seems that we are still followed by bad luck. Wimpy has aborted and
thereby we are not having any foals this year.
D. Shan'n Jan Memory has had an operation in the autumn 2004. The conclusion
from the vet is that he has been injured during birth or when he was a foal. The
vet says that he always will have a strange looking movement, but he is in no
pain and neither is he bartered by it.
January 2005
We now know for sure that we this year get one foal. Wimpy is bred to Nazeem
Ibn Jashana, and is expecting a foal in September. We very much look forward to
see the foal. Victoria did not get in foal, and we now try one last time with
the last frozen semen we have. We have made this decission because the stallion
has died.
September 2004
Our breeding season 2004 was unfortunaly not what we had hoped for. The
mares are not in foal with the frozen semen, but instead we have leased Nazeem
Ibn Jashana (FS Eternal Flame x Jashana/Estasan Ibn Estopa) from Marianne
Lorentzen. We hope to get Victoria and Wimpy in foal to him - so we anyway can
get foals next year.
