Review at year 2007..
Looking back at year 2007, my first thought is that it has been a year full of
costs. The los of 2 foals for this year in November and December 2006 has
caused a lot of trouble and a lot of bills from the vet. And also shortly before
Christmas my suspicion about the los of Wimpy as a broodmare because of her
abortion in November due to the Herpes Virus, was confirmed by the vet as he
called me to give me the result from her biopsy. My meeting with the Herpes
Virus has been a very expensive and sad experience, and it really did put itŽs
mark on year 2007 for me..
Having said that, the year also brought me some positive experiences. I went to
visit 3 studs, Sax Arabians, Germany, The Kossack Stud, Holland and Arabian
Fantasie, Holland, and I bought an amazing filly foal from Arabian Fantasie -
Elunah Monpelou - she is my little star for the future. My visits at these studs
also really opened my eyes for the russian arabian, and I have no doubt in my
mind that this is the direction for me to go in, when it comes to breeding as my
goal is uniting high show and riding qualities in the same horse.
We welcomed our little russian prinsess Elunah Monpelou at our stud, but also
another russian related horse entered our stud - Cereniza - sired by The King
Himself, Kubinec, whom I also met during my visit at The Kossack Stud. Cereniza
came to us in August and we are looking forward to entering her in our breeding
program in the spring 2008.
We said godbye to GR Nakeel and Harley Davidson, they both had new lovely homes.
Sadly, we also had to say difinitively godbye to Cody Makida D. who passed the
rainbow bridge at the young age of 5. We have cried a lot of tears and sent so
many thoughts to her owner Betina in Tappernoeje, Denmark. Cody leaves one
single offspring - our yearling Zeems Cheeky D.
We have been a bit more active in riding competitions than last year as we now
have 2 stallions beeing ridden and beeing active in competitions. D.
ShanŽn Jan Memory has as usual attended in western shows, and PA Nafal Ibn
Sharim has been attending dressage competitions for the first time. He has been
a pleasure to bring along, and for sure I will start him again next year. Wimpy
was attending the endurence class at Scandinavian Riding Show in Randers and she
did great. It was her first time away from home beeing ridden and it was very
interesting to learn a bit about the endurence discipline too.
Concerning the shows, it didnŽt go quite as planned as I withdraw Nafal from the
2 shows he was entered in, as I didnŽt find him 100% ready. But Sweet Miss D.
had her debut in the show ring and she was awarded 38,33 points at The National
Show, and 88.63 points at The International A-Show at Vilhelmsborg, Denmark. We
are very pleased and proud of her results.
At the end of the year we still have 3 mares in foal, and we hardly canŽt wait
untill they are due. It will be 3 excieting foals for us as our Simeon Sadik
daughter CAS Harmony is in foal to Junior World Champion Reserve CE Magnum and
the first foals sired by Nafal will be born.
With this in mind, we look into 2008 as a year full of joy and wish you all the
best in the year to come!
December 2007
WE WISH YOU ALL A MERRY
CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

We had the answer from the biopsy from Wimpy, and the result was not quite
good.. Wimpy has a lot of cicatricial tissue in uterus and that is the reason
that she didnŽt get in foal. There is a small but expensive chance that she
trough some medical treatment will be able to produce foals again, and at the
moment I am considering what to do.
9th of December
Nafal and I competed in a dressage competition at the local riding school SIR.
He was a bit nervous in the warm up but more relaxed in the arena and again I am
very satisfied with his results and behavior.
4th of December
The made a biopsy from Wimpy today and we expect to have the result in a few
weeks.. We hope for the best but also fear the worst case...

November 2007

The vet was here to check Cereniza. She has fully recovered from her injure but
unfortunately she came in heat a few days after beeing sedated for stitching up,
and today we know for sure that she has lost her foal.
11th of November
Elunah arrived at Davidson Arabians at 2 am in the night after 8 hours drive
from Arabian Fantasie. She seems rather cool and is okay by having her own boks
with out her mum - where there is food is a good place to be, she seems to be
thinking.. Once again thanks to Arabian Fantasie for the purchase of this little
gourgeous princess.
Elunah Monpelou

Together with an old friend of mine I went to see The Kossack Stud in Holland on
the trip down to pick up Elunah at Arabian Fantasie. The Kossack Stud is an
amazing place, not much has been left to coinicidences when it comes to the
wellfare of the horses. We saw a lot of horses and those how made the biggest
impression on me was the little filly by WH Justice - Adream of Kossack - she
sure can live up to her name..
Adream of Kossack by WH Justice
And the young colt Kunar T, by Nadir I - he has an amazing trot and I have never
seen anything alike - so elastic, such a lift and yet so full of power..
Kunar T by Nadir I
And of course - the King himself - Kubinec - enjoying his life in an open barn
where he can walk in and out as he pleases to. Amazing that he still breeds
aprox 50 mares every year.
Kubinec - sire of our broodmare Cereniza
Thanks a lot for your time Robbie, it was a great day with a lot of stories and
impressions, and thanks to you too Nina, with out your company the trip would
have felt much longer than is was :-)
7th of November
I went to visit Sax Arabians in Germany to see Massari Ibn Massimo, Massimo Ibn
Mirokan and Mirokan - Elunahs half brother, sire and grand sire.
Massimo Ibn Mirokan - Sire of Elunah Monpelou
I also met a
fantastic old boy - Nadir I - really a great joy to see a 20 year old stallion
looking and behaving as if he was 5 years old.
Nadir I at
the age of 20...
And thanks again to
Monika and Reinhard for your time, it was a great day for me, meeting you and
many of your lovely horses.

Our dog Diana acieved breeding aproval today. She was at a national dog show and
received a 2nd price, and since the results from her x-ray is good enough too -
she is now ready for breeding.
October 2007
20 th of October
D. ShanŽn Jan Memory attended in Jysk Mesterskab, the last westernshow for him
this year. He has a hard time handling when the crow is clapping, so we will
have to work on that during the winter.
18th of October
We have received the pics from Trine Christensen from the BSR RideŽN Slide
westernshow in Bramming - find them in the gallery for D. ShanŽn Jan Memory
15th of October
Somehow Cereniza got injured in the pasture, and the vet was here to stitch her
up. She will have to be stabled for a couple of days and we hope the best for
her.

PA Nafal Ibn Sharim was attending in a competition only for purebred arabians.
It was his first competition on foreign ground and indoor. He did okay and we
are quite satisfied with his performance. His results are added on the stallion
page and there are pics in the gallery.
6th of October
Our results from BSR RideŽN Slide western show in Bramming are now added to the
stallion page. D. ShanŽn Jan Memory and I had a great show with a 2nd place as
our best result. Pics will follow later - Horsephotographer Trine Christensen
was there, and we are looking forward to see her shots.

23th of September
Our new examination boks is finished, and we are now ready for the 2008 breeding
season.
19th of September
Today the carpeter was here to repair the roof on the indoor riding arena, which
was damaged by the very hard weather we had in the beginning of August with
hagel coming in size like gulf balls.. He brought with him a lift and we took
advantage of the situation and cleaned up and changes all the lights in there.
We also made a
few pics of the stable and the pastures from aprox 8 meters in the air.
15th of September
Secretly Nafal and I was attending our first dressage competition by the
lokal Silkeborg Ridingschool today. We were attending in LC1, but outside
cometition as we still have some comunication problems now and then.
I was very nervous and if it hadnŽt been for my true supporters Lisbet and
Katja, I probably would never have made it to go as far as sitting in the sadle
today. But it all went a lot better than expected - Nafal was behaving very nice
and was not affected either by the wind that was pretty rough, or all the other
horses out there. Our score was almost 60%, and that would have given us a 3rd
place if not competing outside competition. So thanks a lot for your support
girls :-)
More pics to find
in the gallery.
13th of September
New pics of our yearling filly Zeems Cheeky D. and also one of Sweet Miss D.
from the International A-show at Vilhelmsborg.

In the weekend i attended my first endurence ever at Scandinavian Riding Show in
Randers. Wimpy
and I had a nice trip dispite that she fell and was limping afterwards. This
happened short before the finish line, so we walked the last bit of the route,
which disqualified us. But most important for me was that she was found okay in
the vet control afterwards:-) And I definetely learned a lot about endurence and
will be ready to give it another try some other time ;-)
9th of August
Nafal has been ridden at Husteds by Mille and is now back home again. We are
looking forward to riding him a lot durig the winther.
July 2007
Sweet Miss D. did wonderful at both The National Show and The International
A-Show at Vilhelmsborg. Shown by Lone Husted she was awarded with 38,33 points
at The National Show and 88,63 points at The International A-show. Results we
are very proud of, especially because it was her debut in the show ring.
Jobbe, our cat with the broken leg is now walking around using all 4 legs again
:-)
I have withdrawn Nafal from the shows at Vilhelmsborg. In my opnion he is not
100 % ready to go, so I wonŽt let him. I needs more time to get all "set" and
grow wide instead of growing "up". He will stay at Husteds for another 2 weeks
for riding.
I went to visit Arabian Fantasie in Holland to see a very special straight
russian filly foal by Massimo Ibn Mirokan out of a Vympel granddaughter. This
lovely filly will join us at Davidson Arabians when she is old enough to leave
her mum. Thanks to Abigail and Chris for giving us the posibillity to purchace
this lovely filly.
Elunah Monpelou
As Wimpy didnŽt get in foal this year she will be attending the Scandinavian
Riding Show for Purebred Arabians in August in Randers, Denmark.
June 2007
D. ShanŽn Jan Memory is getting better and better as a pleasure horse and he has
just attended another show on Fyn - our photographer Jani Pedersen was there and
you will find her shots from the ouside warm up arena in the gallery.
We now give up on getting Wimpy in foal for this year. This leaves us with
3 mares in foal for the next spring.

shown both at The National- and The International Show at Vilhelmsborg,
Aarhus, Denmark by Lone Husted.

very gentle and loving young mare - no one will ever be like her. We will miss
her dearly and our thoughts goes to her owner Betina and her family - we cry
with you :-(
Cody is the dam of our youngster Zeems Cheeky D.
The sales list is updated.
We managed to find the right sadle for Nafal and now have it returned from
the sadlery, so it should fit him perfectly now - and finally Nafal is starting
to work under sadle again. We will go easy on him until we know for sure that
our problems are solved. - New pics in the gallery..
It appears that we are having some problems getting our mares in foal after
the abortions last year, so at the monemt we only have one in foal :-( But
together with our Vet we keep working on it.
April 2007
CAS Harmony is now in foal to CE Magnum due February 2008 :-) Wimpy came in

Our dog Diana passed the Mental test with a very fine result - there are pics
from the test in the gallery, also there are several other new pics in the
