Elunah is our Princess. I bought her when she was around 6 weeks old - by coinsidence I saw this add saying "really something special" and then sired by Massimo Ibn Mirokan - a stallion I was keeping in my mind for breeding when I had the right mare for him. I just had to go to Holland to see if this filly really was something special.. She sure was -  I knew from the first second I layed eyes on her, that I woundn´t leave before she was mine.

Elunah is straight russian, and meeting her and all the other amazing straight russians at Arabian Fantasie in Holland made it clear for me, that the russians was "it" when the goal is combining show, breeding and performance in the same horse. So the purchase of Elunah was the beginning of the making my "russian dream" come true.

Elunah is bred by Monpelou stables in Holland, who through many years have had great succes breeding straight russians. Among others the have bred Mirok Monpelou who has amazing results both in Europe and the US. Elunahs sire Massimo Ibn Mirokan is one of the breeding stallions at Sax Arabians Germany, and he is German National Champion. Also Massimo is a full brother to the very succesfull stallion Massai Ibn Marenga owned by Darius Arabians Germany. Elunahs mother Wushika Monpelou is a Vympel grand daughter just like our (now retired) broodmare Wimpy. Wushika is not shown, but she is today owned by Arabian Fantasie, so I hope we will be able to see her in the ring some day.

Elunah is a true prinsess, very trusty and sweet, but also she has her own ideas and she sure knows what she is made of. She is always ready for fun and she is super showy, so in 2009 she will go back to Holland for training and showing, and we are looking forward to seeing her in the ring in the hands of Chris Van Schalkwijk.
