Review at year 2010..
Looking back at year 2010 can certainly
not make me smile.. It was a year I wish that had never come. A year where the
loss of Nafal has beaten us to the gutter and lies like a dark shadow for
anything else.
The foaling season started in February with Cheeky loosing my 3. generation
filly from the bloodlines of Wimpy. Later on in March and April 2 lovely babies
found their way to our world - Dubai Diva D. and D. Matrix. - sired by 2
exciting stallions - Dubai Pasha - who is now sold to Iran, and Tchaata Matisse.
In 2010 the first foal sired by Carrera was born, and also the first foal in
Denmark sired by Duval was born in the summer - and both fillies. Also 5 foals
sired by Nafal were born, among these his first Shagya foal.
It was a good year for breeding and in this writing moment we are expecting 4
foals in the coming season and in total 15 mares are in foal to one of our
stallions, among these 7 are in foal to Nafal.
Year 2010 has been the first in a row were we have not been importing horses
from outside Denmark, but this does not mean that we didn´t do any buying and
selling. Our filly Dubai Diva D. moved to her new home at weaning, Skovsted ox
took over the full ownership of Yamena, Victoria Lynn moved to the very North of
Sweden and A´Chanze, a 3 year old gelding was purchased, ridden and sold within
just a few months. Also we welcomed Sinaida at our stud. She is a big and strong
Straight Russian mare. For us she might be interesting due to her pedigree but
also as she is in foal to D. Shan´n Jan Memory, the first foal from Victoria
Lynn.
Finally on one of the very last days of the year we welcomed Balate at stud.
Balate is a soon 4 year old gelding and we are looking forward to get to know
him better. Despite all this our Ajman Moniscione son Amicelli is on lease to Stald Maribo
At shows we were represented in Holland, Germany and Belgium with Elunah
Monpelou and D. Desert Eagle. At the stallion prestentation at Husteds we
entered Massimo and Carrera and at the stallion presentation on Sealand
Massimo and Nafal was presented. We were also represented at the DSAH shagya/anglo
licensing with Vix Sultana D. and D. Desert Eagle, they were ranking 1st
and 2nd in the same class. Sultana was also announced Junior Champion and Best
in Show.
When it comes to riding Massimo is backed and a bit more, A´Chanze
was
broken in and sold. Sinaida was lightly backed and nothing more. Our
energy on this point was used on Carrera who by the end of the year passed a 30
days performance test for warmblood stallions in Germany - and we are very proud
and happy for this achievement.
We leave year 2010 in the shade of Nafals death and meet year 2011 at a time
where our motivation to carry on is almost equal to zero. The coming months
might be quiet here, we need time to heal our wounds and will raise again when
the time is right.

Year 2010 is lacking to its end and we would like to thank clients and
friends for the many happy and good hours we spent together.
Next years foals sired by our stallions will be the largest so far and we
are excited to see what´s coming!!

Balate is a young gelding sired by Valerio Ibn Eternity and we are
looking forward to getting to know him better and also to ride him when we
find the time.

December 21st
In the autum I entered SL Carrera to a 30 day performance test for
Warmblood stallions in Germany and the day before Nafal passed away I
was in Germany with Carrera.
Carrera has not been much on my mind since my tragic loss of Nafal
and I feel a bit sorry for that.
Carrera passed his perfomance test on December 21st - exactly one
month after Nafal died, and I thank God and Nafal for picking
Sunday for his final moment well knowing that if he had picked Friday, I
would not have been able to bring Carrera to Germany for the test.
However.. This is our happy ending of 2010 and we are very proud and happy
to announce that SL Carrera passed the test in rough company with 48
stallions from other studbooks.
Due to the weather and high ways full of ice Carrera is still in
Germany.
He will come home as soon as possible. We don´t take any chances and are
waiting for a possibility for a safe transport.

Life goes on as they say..
Our dear Nafal has moved from the Stallion site to the Memories site.
His son D. Desert Eagle has moved to his Sires place in our barn.

Bridge to become the most shining star in Heaven
It all happend so fast, the emptness is huge and the pain is killing me.
Nafal was my one and only and I loved him more than anything in the
world

A day that some people have been longing for a long time - and a day that
other people haven´t been longing for in the same way..
The day were our little black Princess Dubai Diva D. left us to start
a new and happy life with Marianne og Keld Dahl.
Once again we congratulate you on the purchase of a very special filly and
wish you all the best for the future.

Our younc colt D. Desert Eagle was X-rayed today - and he is
OCD clear :-)
D. Desert Eagle will stand at stud for a limited number of mares in
the coming season.

We were at a stallion presentation & sales day in Vallensbaek, near
Copenhagen with Massimo Ibn Mirokan and PA Nafal
Ibn Sharim.
Massimo was pretty stressed up in the stables but showed himself okay and
was more calm afterawards. Nafal was nice calm, quiet and as usual a
pleasure to bring along.
So far I have none - but I hope to get hold of a couple of pics later on.

A couple of years ago we fought hard to get af foal from our western ridden
stallion D.
Shan´n Jan Memory.
An unfortunate abortion resulting in a non fertile mare made us loose that
battle.

Great SUCCES for Davidson Arabians at the DSAH selection in Ikast.
Our yearling colt D. Desert Eagle was 2nd in the youngster class with
the End Note 8, beaten by our yearling filly Vix Sultana D.!
Vix Sultana D. archieved the End Note 9, she was Class Winner, Junior
Champion, Crowds Favorite AND Best In Show!!
Sultana was shown by "Davidson Arabians Junior" alias Mark
Nybo - thank you Mark! You did a great job!!
Mark is 14 years old and this was his debut as a handler - and WHAT a
debut..!!!

My niece Maria who just loves horses were here on a visit with her younger
brother Anders.
Maria had been looking forward to see our horses and was dressed up for a
little ride and Victoria Lynn was happy to satisfy both Maria and
Anders on that point.

We were at International B show in Strohen, Germany.
D. Desert Eagle and Elunah Monpelou were competing in the
hands of Chris van Shalkwijk, Arabian Fantasie.
Besides Elunah we were happy to see not less than 3 other offsprings from
Massimo Ibn Mirokan, and all did well.
And speaking of Massimo babies - we received some pictures of a truly
stunning colt from
Marley Arabians in the UK.

Chanel Cosh.
Chanel sure is a little beauty and probably the most trusty foal I have ever
met. She would crawl into your pocket if you let her.

I was on a visit to Skovsted OX to see Fairytale by Duval sired by Duval.
She is a real little "Miss Show off" and we are excited to follow her in the
futrure.

Elunah Monpelou had her debut in the show ring in Exloo in Holland.
She was not feeling so comfortable alone in the ring so we hope that this
experience will do her good for the next show.
She was placed 4th with 253 points.
