Review at 2013...
The year began with Massimo beeing
in quite good condition after his passed performance test. He didn´t get his
license with the Sports Ponies, but later he was licensed for Welsh Ponies,
and also he got himself a lot of attention beeing at the stallion
presentation at Husteds in Western Outfit.
2013 brought us 4 wonderful foals - 2 filles and 2 colts. The fillies both
by Duval and one of them is my 3rd generation filly foal that I have
been waiting for for SO long. Both colts are very exciting and for me to see,
they both could have a future as Sires - so we are excited to follow them
through the next couple of years.
With AF Escada loosing her foal last summer, this year started with
success on that point as we got her in foal in first try! So right now we
only have a couple of weeks till the first 2014 foal is born. Also in 2013
we finally hit the winning lottery with the SC Dagash breeding bought
on The European Fururity Auction back in 2011. We tried with fresh
cooled semen twice, and with frozen also twice and with the very last dose I
had, I finally had success and we are expecting a foal from SC Dagash
by the end of March. - to this day my biggest succes as AI tecnichan and "do-it-all-by-yourself-woman"
on that point.
To the mare owners who put their mares here for either covering with one of
our stallions or making use of our competences on the AI point - thank you
for your trust. I am happy to have been a part of your succesful breeding
season.
For our own stallions SL Carrera has the high score this year -
mainly purebred mares and mainly from people in the endurence world - we are
excited to see what his foals can acomplish for you in the furture.
A quick decision was made and AF Escada was to return to the show
ring for the first time since her arrival in DK as a 3 year old. For the
training we broke her in and she has turned out to be a very easy and loving
riding horse. Her come back was also satisfying - she scored more than 39
points and was 3rd in the class standing behind 2 very experienced show
horses.
When it comes to sales the year has been quiet. In the beginning of the year
we sold DD Chamsine to Sealand, and since then she has made her debut
as a dressage horse quite good. D. Matrix came back home for a short
notice, he was gelded and shortly after sold to a new home where he will be
facing a carrer as an endurence horse in the future. CA Zazsi was put
in foal to SL Carrera, broken to ride and sold to a new home where
her foal from SL Carrera is waited for with great impaitience.
The anual Shagya licensing is an event that, more or less, has become a
tradition for us to attend - and mostly with success. This year we attended
with 4 horses. Rosary D. was 3rd in the foal class, AF escada
was lincensed in class 2A, Rose of Kunar took the lead in that class
and was licensed in class 1B and then our little black filly Maid of
Emotion D. really impressed all - she was the highest scoring horse and
took the BIS title!
2013 was the year where I finally was to find myself on the back of D.
Desert Eagle. His training as a riding horse has started but we are far
from where I had hoped we could be by now. Some small injuries etc. has
forced us to pause every now and then, but I hope we are though with all
that by now so I can prioritate his training at high rank in 2014.
2013 was also the year where we really came to feel that the building of the
new high way is going on.. We took our precautions and refenced the mares
pastures, also I got myself a new round pen. We hope for 2014 to be able to
finish the fencing project. We only miss one smaller pasture and the out
door riding arena to be comepletly refenced all over.
My personal high lights from 2013.. Despite my succes with the frozen semen
from SC Dagash, it is to finally be riding D. Desert Eagle,
but also the winning at the Shagya licensing with Maid of Emotion D.
- not only for the success, but becuase she is such a strong "Davidson-product".
Beeing sired by D. Desert Eagle, grand sired by PA Nafal Ibn
Sharim - and out of my first straight Russian Mare Elunah Monpelou,
sired by Massimo Ibn Mirokan and grandsired by Duval...
Maid of Emotion D. contains not less than 4 "Davidson" stallions in her
pedigree
- and with her success - that is something to be proud of - and
proud I am for sure!
With 4 foals in 2013 and 4 foals coming in 2014 our number of horses is
quite high at the moment. For this reason we will have a very quite 2014
breeding season. But this doesn´t mean that we are closing down for the
season - me and my boys are as always at service for you and your mare/s -
we always give it all we got to give you a succesful result.

so suddenly left my world.

powerful stallion he was.
In his much too short life he made a huge and very deep impression on me
with all that he gave me -
- and still he keeps giving.

died the first Trahekner foals sired by him has been born,
his son D. Desert Eagle was licenced in DSAH, the Shagya/Anglo
Studbook, and his first grand daughter

licensing this year.

Today the new Arabian show,
Denmark Open was held in Vallensbaek, Sealand.
Davidson Arabians was sponsor of the class for 7-10 year old mares,
but due to Elunahs foaling we were not able to be present at the show.
But still we would like send a special greeting and a HUGE congratulation to
the winner of this class Malicas Lou Lou bred and owned by Mekka
Arabians.

Matrix is back with us for rehoming due to sad circumstances in his
familiy.
He is a lovely boy - 3 years old and soon ready to start is career as a

AF Nindjini as the little girl is named is 3/4 sister to our

Massimo Ibn Mirokan was at the licencing for Danish Sports Ponies.
He was not licensed but he sure showed the crowd that the Arabian horse
can be both wild and furious as a show horse
- but also very cool and balanced when asked to work under sadle.
A special thanks to Marianne Olesen for beeing my "Mum" today.
Last time the "Pony people" saw Massimo was at the 30 days
performance test, where he was in a very poor condition.
I was SO embarresed to show myself in public with a horse in that condition,
and to think of it still makes me wanna through up...
But today they saw Massimo the way he looks when he comes from home, and the
way he should look beeing MY horse
- that was our goal today - so mission acomplished :-)
